NERO® South Carolina: Experience, Excitement, and Love of the Game

This is an announcement for the re-opening of a NERO chapter in South Carolina. The new owners have high hopes and fresh ideas to bring new life to the South Carolina chapter.

White Plains, NY April 7, 2005 -- NERO® was founded in 1988, and is presently the leading and most thriving Live Action Role Playing Company in North America and Canada, with its membership base currently at around eight thousand people and growing. With the closing of the month of March, NERO® International proudly announced the re-opening of the NERO® chapter in South Carolina. What can NERO® South Carolina bring to NERO® as a whole?

The answer is…”Experience, excitement, and a love of the game!” says Plot Co-Director of NERO® South Carolina, Justin Files. The new owners have high hopes and fresh ideas to revamp the South Carolina chapter. NERO® South Carolina’s plan is to be the first all National Member Chapter, which means that all of their characters will utilize the National Character Database. Players who come to the South Carolina chapter can expect to experience a highly intense and challenging game, with an in-depth background that will challenge anyone who visits their chapter.

The Plot Director Justin Easterwood and the Plot Co-Director Justin Files are both long time NERO® members (since the early and mid-90’s) and LARP players. Easterwood and Files have previous experience running their own LARP for the past five years.

NERO® South Carolina has scheduled their first two full weekend events at Cheraw State Park in Cheraw, SC. The dates are May 13-15 and August 19-21, 2005.
